Peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital on Sunday, March 26, 2023 age 64. Lloyd is survived by his wife Debbie (Fleming). Precious father of Travis (Alexandra), James (Erin), Joshua (Katie Engel) and Chelsey (Brian Poulter). Much loved grandfather of Easton, Emersen, Henry, Levi, Rory, Zadie, Brooke and Frederick. Much loved brother of Joyce Martel (Alan). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his loving parents Donald and Kay Foster.
Lloyd was raised on the family farm on Eagleson Rd., Richmond. He graduated from South Carleton High School in 1977 and went on to the University of Guelph graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture (Aggie Class 1981).
Special gratitude and heartfelt thanks for the kind and compassionate care over the last 9 years to everyone at St. Patrick’s Home, particularly the incredible staff on Carlow House and caregivers, Nur and Jean.
The family also acknowledge the dedicated staff of the Trillium Foundation and Team who made Lloyd’s wishes possible.
A visitation will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, Richmond on Saturday, May 27th from 9:45 am until time of memorial service at 11 am . Those wishing may make memorial donations to Parkinson Society, St. Patrick’s Home of Ottawa, 2865 Riverside Dr., Ottawa, K1V8N5 or St. Paul’s United Church, Richmond.
