Kruger, Lewis John

January 20, 1948 – May 27, 2021

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Lewis John Kruger, beloved husband to Barbara, loving father to Catherine (Patrick) and Andrew (Lisa) and proud Grampy to Gavin, Mason and Elgin.  Dearly loved by his brother Paul (Jackie) in Australia and their family; by family in Wales and England; and by many close friends in Ottawa.

Led by his incredible faith, Lewis lived believing that each moment is to be celebrated.  He shared his love of life with everyone he met; his greetings filled with joy; his words shared with compassion and care.  A proud Welshman and lifelong fan of Welsh Rugby.  His passion for the meal, the wine and the (lengthy!) stories will be missed. We are left with an incredible void; we carry on with his spirit in our heart.
