Len went to be with his Lord peacefully on Thursday, August 2, 2018 in his 92 ^nd year. He was the devoted husband of 60 years and best friend of Ruth (nee Orser). He was the proud and loving father of Janice (Ian) Dunn and Bob (Jennifer) Campbell. Poppa will be forever missed by his cherished grandchildren Jonathan (Andrea), Krista (Andrew), David (Sarah), Sarah, Jake, Anna and great-grandson Ryan. Predeceased by his siblings Evelyn (Orr), Louise (Baker), John, Muriel (Sands), Grace (Murray), Leslie and Lloyd. Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Naydenne and Leonie Campbell and his many nieces and nephews.

Len was a model husband who loved Ruth, the only love of his life, without reserve, living the vows he made almost 60 years ago. He left a legacy of love, laughter, generosity, quiet dignity and faithful Christian living as a model to his children and grandchildren. He was known across the Ottawa region for his quality and integrity as a businessman in the drywall industry. He was a generous, servant-hearted and faithful churchman who loved and served people from all walks of life.

The family wishes to express our deepest appreciation for Dr. L. Bartlett, Dr. K. Spacek and the many medical staff, support workers, and the entire team of the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice who loved him, cared for him, and ushered him into his eternal home with such honour and dignity.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arlington Woods Free Methodist Church or Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice.

On Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service for Len will take place at Arlington Woods Free Methodist Church, 225 McClellan Road, Ottawa on Monday, August 6 ^th at 11 a.m. Reception will follow.

Interment Pinecrest Cemetery on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m.
