Lawrence Emanuel Peever

It is with sadness that we announce that Lawrence passed away peacefully on Saturday June 22, 2024 at the age of 82. Loving father of Cindy Dastous (Hein) and Blair (Katherine) and Grandpa of Samantha (Paul), Matthew, and Alora. Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen; his siblings Jim, Carl, George and Lorraine; and survived by his sister Jacqueline.

Originally a sheet metal tradesman he worked on many prominent buildings in the Ottawa area but spent most of his career proudly working for the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Nepean. Lawrence was an avid woodworker, mechanic and NASCAR fan.

A visitation will be held at Tubman Funeral Homes Westboro Chapel (403 Richmond Rd Ottawa) on Friday June 28, 2024 from 6 pm until 8 pm; followed by a Funeral Service on Saturday June 29 at St. Mark’s Anglican Church (Fisher Ave, Ottawa) at 11 am.
