Kathleen Mackintosh

Peacefully at Valley Stream Manor, on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Mackintosh. Dearly loved mother of James, Barb (Michael Levesque), Brian (Janet Davis), and Sheila. Dear sister of Helen (Douglas MacKecknie). Pre-deceased by sisters Mary, Margaret, Bessie and Evelyn. Loving Grandmother to Alexandra (Aref Ibrahim), Nicholas, Rebecca (Mark Jemmett), Sarah (Justin Michaud). Great-grandmother to Mackenzie Jemmett, Owen and Colten Michaud.

Kay leaves behind many special nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and her beautiful gardens. In Lieu of flowers, donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be greatly appreciated. Friends may attend a visitation at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd. (between Baseline Rd. and Bayshore Dr.), Nepean on Thursday, October 10th from 2 to 5 p.m. Private inurnment at a later date. Those wishing may make memorial donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
