Born 9 June 1928, Ayr, Scotland

Loving wife of John Gibson Waddell (deceased). Mother to Ian and David Waddell. Mother-in-Law to Catherine Waddell (Nee: Boland) and Heidi Waddell (Nee: Schwer). Grandmother to Chelsea and Madison. Great Grandmother to Symphony

Came to Canada with John in 1955. Resided first in Oshawa, Ontario. She moved to Ottawa, Ontario where she raised her family.

Her final years were spent close to family in Edmonton, where she resided at Chartwell in St. Albert

Katherine enjoyed involvement in the church, bazaars, knitting, Masonic Lodge, Scouts Canada, and lots of bingo at Chartwell.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Tubman Funeral Homes Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) on Tuesday, July 9th from 6 pm to 8 pm and on Wednesday, July 10th from 10 am to time of service at 11 am in the Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road.

We will be bringing her back to her love, John.
