Karen Krzyzewski

d. September 18, 2013

Tragically, as the result of an accident, on Wednesday, September 18th, 2013 at the age of 53. Much loved and proud mother of Natasha and Miles. Beloved daughter of John and Margaret Hussar. Cherished sister of Laura Brown (Chris), Paul Hussar (Karyn Hadwen), and Ann Marie Hussar-Lucas (Ken). Also survived by her former husband Frank Krzyzewski. Doting Auntie Karen of Alicia, Savanna, and Chanelle; Nadya (Ethan Fayder) and Ryan; Robyn, Connor and Jesse; and proud great-aunt of Kyra. Karen will be greatly missed by extended Ottawa and Hamilton family members, as well as numerous friends and co-workers.

There just isn’t any way to convey the depth of our grief and sense of loss. She was an exceptional human being with a heart of gold, who loved to laugh and cared for her family and friends unconditionally and with great passion, as she did with all she embraced. She was a kind and gentle soul with gifts and talents far too numerous to list. WE love you Karen and we will all miss you dearly. Thanks for all the beautiful memories.
