Joseph "Joe", Edgar Turner

November 8, 1933- August 20, 2018

Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Monday, August 20, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Loving husband for 55 years of Elinor (nee Murray), cherished father of Stephen Turner (Dalia Bortolotti), William (Bill) Turner (Penny Allan), and Sheila (David Olivieri) and predeceased by son Jeffrey Raymond Turner. Proud grandfather of Jessica (Tedd Clark), Rebecca Turner, Samantha Billings-Turner, Veronica Olivieri and Marcus Olivieri and great grandfather of Ruby, Jaxson and Leondray. Survived by sister Mary Turner, and predeceased by brothers Louis, John and sisters Chloe, Rita, Eileen, Katherine and Theresa. Joe enjoyed the piece of heaven called ‘Bikini Base' at Lac Serpent for the last 52 years, with family and friends. Joe worked as a Master Sales at Jim Tubman Chev Olds for 30 years bringing smiles and friendship to everyone he met.

A memorial service will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd (between Baseline and Bayshore Drive), Ottawa on Monday, August 27 at 1 p.m., followed by a reception.
