It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of John, surrounded by his loving family at his home. Beloved husband of Peter Vasdi. Cherished and devoted Baba of Jasmine and Samantha. Predeceased by his parents Philip and Lily Nihmey and his brother Elias. John will be forever missed by his brothers George (Pat) and Nick (Kathleen), nieces and nephews Carrie, Jennifer, Alexandra, Adam, Brandon, Mason, Phillip, Melissa, their significant others, children, aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt), on Monday, December 23rd, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service Tuesday, December 24th 12:30 pm at the First United Church, 347 Richmond Road. Reception to follow.
