Joanne Davidson

Peacefully on February 26, 2020. Joanne is predeceased by her parents Harold and Margaret Johnson. She will be greatly missed by her former husband and friend Rick, her daughters Kathy (Al) and Jennifer (Jill) and her beloved canine son Denver (Pollie).
Joanne grew up in the Leaside neighbourhood of Toronto where she fostered many lifelong friendships. After several exciting years living in France, Germany and Maine, she settled in Ottawa to raise her young family. Joanne’s happiest years centered around time spent with family, the camaraderie she shared with work colleagues, regular trips to sunny Fort Lauderdale, and the joy of a glass of wine shared with her many friends. In her later years, Joanne enjoyed living on the Rideau river with her dogs and the many rabbits and birds that shared her property.
Joanne will be best remembered for her kindness, charm, sense of fun, and energy that could light up any room. She was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Joanne will return to Toronto to join her mom and dad at St James cemetery. The family is planning a private service in the Spring.
