Joan Corcoran

Peacefully at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute on November 19, 2013 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of 68 years to Wilfrid Corcoran. Loving mother of Keith (Carol), Rose Marie (the late Bernie) Courchaine, Gerry (Mary), Louise Perrier (Denis Rivard), Terry (Hilda) and Frank (Linda Hardy). She will be sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and her extended family in England. Friends may visit at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd (between Baseline and Bayshore Dr.) on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. Special thanks to the staff at the Civic Hospital, university of Ottawa Heart Institute and Park Place Retirement Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
