Safe in the arms of Jesus, the Lord called home Jetty Hogeveen (nee Jansen) on May 14, 2018 at the age of 79. Predeceased by her dear husband Cornelis Hogeveen. Beloved mother of Sheila and David Balmer, Richard and Monique Hogeveen, Joanne Hogeveen and Shelley Hogeveen, and Grandma of Sophie, Claire, Erin and Colwyn. She will be dearly missed by her brothers and their families Kemp and Nellie Jansen, Sid and Susan Jansen, and by her brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. on Thursday May 17 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Burial will take place at Capital Memorial Gardens on Friday May 18 at 10:00 am, followed by Funeral Service at 11:30 am at Calvin Christian Reformed Church, 1475 Merivale Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jetty’s name to the Dementia Society of Ottawa.
