Jennifer Cuddy

On November 2, 2024, our beloved Jennifer passed peacefully in her sleep. When we remember Jen, it will always be with joy. She was a precious gift to her family and friends, teaching everyone how to live with courage and an open heart.

Jen had severe epilepsy her whole life but she would not let that stop her from leading a full, rich life. She enjoyed travel adventures, camping and driving around the backroads of Calabogie to look for deer. She loved taking photos, capturing images that reflected her love of birds, animals and nature. She would then spend weeks packaging them as cards to give as a gift for others to enjoy. Every summer she looked forward to Camp Misquah, practicing beforehand for her solo performance at the banquet. Jen also attended the Y's Owl McClure and the OCAPP Silver Springs Studio programs where she was able to express her artistic side. She loved the Healing with Horses program, especially riding Kenny and Moe. 

Jen was a gentle, kind, and generous soul. She filled her days thinking about others and what she could do for them. She already had 20 people on her Christmas list, ready as always to celebrate the next special event on the calendar. 

Jen had a committed relationship with her special friend, Jack McShane, who we know will miss her dearly. Our hearts are heavy with the loss he must feel.

Survived by her grateful parents, Sally and Mark Cuddy, her dear sister Nikki and her partner Chase Watterson. She leaves behind many uncles, aunts, and cousins all of whom have been touched by her loving spirit.

Visitation will be held at Tubman Funeral Homes Garden Chapel (3440 Richmond Road) on Friday November 8 from 7p.m. to 9p.m. and on Saturday November 9 from 10a.m. to 1p.m.

A funeral service for Jennifer's life will be held at Trinity United Church Sunday November 10, 2024 at 2p.m. followed by reception in the church hall.
