Janne (Jane) Marie Fjeld October 7, 1959-October 19, 2021

Beloved Daughter of Peter Fjeld and Anne Fjeld (Setane); Cherished wife and Muse of Stanislaw Edward Lipinski, a proud and loving Mother to Matthew Olaf Lipinski and his beloved life partner Katie Matthews and a first time Bestamor (grandmother) to the joyful Charlotte Eleanor Lipinski. She was a loved sister to brothers Jon (Laura) and Paul (Rebecca) and a delighted aunt to Andrea, Evan, Liam, Andrew, Tania, Alicia, Mark, Steven, Michael, Ethan, Issac, Lucas, Marcus, Katie, Owen, Carter and Autumn.

It is with broken hearts and lives completely changed that we wish to share the news about the sudden and unexpected death of our beloved Janne (Jane) Fjeld. She died unexpectedly leaving all of us who remain with many thoughts about the lost possibilities of the things Janne had left undone. Upon graduating from the University of Ottawa Master's Criminology program, Janne developed a calling for social justice and community activism which first had its seeds planted as a young teenage summer camp counselor with the Montreal Brewery Mission. She went on to a range of endeavours and accomplishments in Probation, the Elizabeth Fry Society, Center for Addiction and Mental Health, Community Services, the Provincial Government, and Youth Services Bureau. Most recently, Janne had been an active member of the John Howard Society Board. She left her mark on each of the people who knew her and on all of the tasks she had undertaken. You will be missed and mourned. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Youth Services Bureau.
