Jimmy passed away peacefully on June 16, 2018 with family by his side. Jimmy will be greatly missed by his cherished wife, Roberta Smeathers. He was the beloved son of William (deceased) and Mary Johnston. He was the dear brother of Elizabeth Avvampato (Mike), Brian Johnston (Margaret) and Alan Johnston (Barbara). Jimmy will be missed by his in-laws, Alice Smeathers, Doug Smeathers (Laurie) and Sylvia White (Eric). Many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews will miss Jimmy. Jimmy was generous and helpful to many. He was an excellent Mr. Fix-it. The family wishes to thank the excellent Intensive Care Staff at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital.
