Passed away peacefully on January 2, 2015 at the Glebe Centre in Ottawa. Treasured husband of 56 years to Louisa. Dearest dad to Lesa (Brian), Merri (Steve) and Jamie (Susan). Cherished grandpa of Jennifer, Christopher, Mathew, Jay, Stefanie, Eric, Andrew and Sarah. Survived by siblings Margaret, Eddie and Kathleen. Predeceased by his parents James and Elizabeth Fullerton and his sister Mary. James graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in Civil Engineering, then pursued his Masters in Engineering at Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. James was the Chief Highway Engineer for Public Works Canada for 35 years. He was a pioneer in Kanata being involved in many activities such as Kanata soccer and Kanata stables. Despite all of the above his proudest achievement was his wife and family. At his request cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations in James's memory to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
