Farkas, Irén (nee Simó)

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at the age of 82 years. Irén was a beloved wife of the late Vencel, a loving mother of Emil (Blanka), Béla, Gábor (Mónika), Csaba (Lajuana) and a dear grandmother of Zita-Ágota, Andrea, Eszter, Tamás and Péter.  Irén will also be sadly missed by her extended family and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 11th at 12 noon in the chapel at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home, 3440 Richmond Rd., Nepean. A reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the Farkas family has requested memorial donations to Ottawa West Community Support Service Communautaire d'Ottawa.
