August 11, 1928 - April 1, 2015

Beloved wife of Douglas for 55 years, mother of Peter (Anik Bédard), Stephen (Karen), Cathy (Ted Murphy) and Nancy (Robb Stewart), grandmother of Mia, Sam, Emma, Jacob, Nathan, Abigail and Jae, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by sisters Mary Moore, Margaret, Bessie, Evelyn Miller and Kathleen MacKintosh. Survived by brothers-in-law Laurie (Mona) and sisters-in-law Lorna Townsend (Elmo), and Helen MacKechnie (late Ronald). Helen was born in Lanark, Ontario and was a resident of Ottawa and Norway Bay (Quebec). Helen was a long time member and choir member of Bells Corners United Church. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (Between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Sunday, April 5 ^th from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Bells Corners United Church Monday, April 6, 2015 at 2:00 pm, with reception to follow in the Church Hall. Interment will be at Norway Bay cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to Bells Corners United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
