REDMOND, Hazel

After a brief illness, Hazel passed away peacefully on Friday, May 27, 2022, at home with family by her side. Beloved wife for 63 years of the late Doug Redmond, she is survived by her children Sharon, Rod (Marilyn), Ian (Susan), grandchildren Scott, Lisa, Wendy, Madeline and Jack and nine great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son Peter, grandson Ryan and son-in-law John Noonan. Hazel lived a full and wonderful life. She and Doug travelled the world, enjoyed time with their friends and their many visits to family in Nova Scotia. Family was of utmost importance to Hazel and she will always be in our hearts as we remember her many stories and her special laugh. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no service or visitation. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Heart Institute or The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful nurses, and staff at the Redwoods Retirement Home, her doctors and the Palliative Care Team who provided such compassionate care for Hazel.
