Wilson, Harvey
Harvey passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Monday, February 27, 2017. Beloved husband of Ethel Taylor. Loving father of Gail (Al Argue), the late Lloyd (Lyn), Connie (Roger Moss), Joan (Dale Murphy) and Tom (Darlene). Survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Kenny (Edith), Ivan (Joyce), Audrey (Denny), Edna (Earl). Harvey was born in Fitzroy Township on September 10, 1931. He was an avid dairy farmer and settled in Dunrobin in 1952 where he farmed until 1994. He had a passion for his beloved Clydsdales horses and for a few years could be found giving sleigh rides on the Rideau Canal. He also worked for Bell Canada and in a time of modern technology he was called upon to help string wire with his horse Sandy in an area where technology could not go. He was a passionate camper, travelling many times to California to visit Ivan, Kapuskasing for the lumberjack show, Newfoundland, the Yukon and others parts. He will remain forever a strong and committed man in our hearts and minds. He was a gentleman to the core.
