Gordon Graham, beloved son of Mary Henrietta Baird and Cecil John Graham, passed away peacefully. He leaves behind his cherished sisters, Donna (Wayne - deceased) and Lynne (Donald). Gordon is predeceased by his dear brothers, Garry and Carl. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at the age of 79. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Gordon's legacy is marked by his unwavering love and dedication to his family and the countless memories shared over his lifetime.
Gordon is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Patricia Jean Graham (née Crepin), whose love and partnership were the cornerstone of his life. Together, they built a family filled with love, strength, and cherished traditions.
Gordon will be profoundly missed by his children, daughter Kelly (David) and son Greg (Danielle). He was predeceased by his daughter Kimberly (Gerald), who remains forever in our hearts.
Gordon's ten grandchildren, Derek (Emma), Samantha (Jelger), Samuel, Aubry, Brennan, Carl, Luca, Eliza, Noella, and Hazelle, will always remember his warmth, wisdom, and the special moments they shared with their Pop’s. As an adoring great-grandfather, Gordon found joy in his great-grandchildren, Winnie and Fritz.
Gordon's life was a testament to the values of love, family, and integrity. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, being an avid fisherman and hunter. Gordon's outgoing nature, his love of conversation, and his storytelling abilities made him a great friend and beloved figure at his Wednesday coffees. Known for his ability to fix everything but broken glass, he will be greatly missed.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Tubman Funeral Home at 115 Rivington Street in Carp on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 4-7 pm. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, August 10, at St. Thomas Anglican Church in Woodlawn at 1:00 pm, with a reception to follow at the Constance Bay Legion.
