Glenice Dugdale nee Liptrot
Passed away peacefully at the age of 89, with family by her side, Tuesday September 19th 2023
Born in Billinge, Lancashire, UK she moved to Canada in 1981
For many years she ran The Swan at Carp with late husband Stan, son Barry (Celine) and daughter Anita (Leo).
She was renowned for her jams and chutneys and donated all proceeds to The Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind
She was an avid and skilled knitter and loved to watch Coronation Street and tennis. Later in life she enjoyed pottering around her garden and tending to her many indoor plants.
She adored her grandchildren Mark, Katy (Kevin), Darren and Dominique (Rob) and was thrilled when great grandchild Holden joined the family
Glenice will be lovingly remembered by friends and family all over the world.
Donations to The Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind , in lieu of flowers, would be appreciated.
