Passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on May 16, 2024, at the age of 87. Gladys was born in Montreal, Quebec on December 25, 1936. Lovingly remembered by her many friends and family including her nephew Ken and grand-nephews Jacob, Connor and Colby. Predeceased by her sister Jessie Pretty (Dec 2, 2023). Gladys spent most of her life in Ottawa working for Bell Canada in the engineering department. She also enjoyed helping people in need through the many committees at Knox Church including Out of the Cold. Visitation will be held at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road, Ottawa on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church 120 Lisgar Street, Ottawa on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at 1:30 pm at St. Elmo Presbyterian Cemetery, Maxville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer Society.
