1951 - 2022

The  family of Gilles Paul Plante of Ottawa, is saddened to announce his passing on Monday August 15, 2022, at the age of 70 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Michelle (Legault) Plante and his children Wendy (Michael), Marie Lynn (Madison), Chantal (Roxane), Caitlin, and Tammy (adopted daughter).His grandchildren Bentley, Isabella, Mikaela, Kristen, Jasmine, Caleb, Miranda, Branden, Madison, Annabelle, Dominic and Fred.  His brother Jesse Plante  and his nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his father, mother, siblings, brothers and sister in laws.

Gilles was the Santa at Beacon Hill Shopping Centre for many years and he volunteered at the Senior Centre and The Clothing Cupboard.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Gilles at the Royal Canadian Legion, Montgomery Branch #351, 330 Kent Street, Ottawa, on Saturday September 17, 2022 from 2 until 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, Gilles had a love for plants and food.
