Gerald Charles Cutts

At Almonte General Hospital, peacefully after a short illness, Gerry left us to be with Heather. Gerald spent several years working at the City of Ottawa, where he met his lifelong love, Heather. He enjoyed an over 30-year career in Finance and Administration with the Regional Municipality of Ottawa Carleton. A lifelong resident of Eastern Ontario, Gerry, always active, enjoyed skiing, skating, cycling, camping, and travel. 

Survived by his two children, Stephanie Cutts-Smith (Martin Smith) and John Cutts (Carolyne [Levac] Cutts). Loving Pop to three grandchildren, Cait, Justin, and Mackenzie. Adoring big brother to Allen, Linda, Faye, and Robert.

Predeceased by his wife, Heather Iva (McGregor) Cutts, his brother Brian Cutts, parents Charles and Evelyn Cutts and his longtime best friend, Richard Lamb.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at Tubman Funeral Home Carp Chapel, 115 Rivington Street, Carp. A moment of prayer will take place at 11:30am. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to Almonte General Hospital in Gerald’s memory are appreciated by the family.
