Gerald Bullock

Retired from Hewlett-Packard (HP) after 35 Years
It is with great sadness that we announce that Gerry passed away peacefully, after a long and very courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded in love, with his family at his side on Friday, April 18th, 2014 at 65 years of age. Gerry will be dearly missed by his spouse and the love of his life, Lucie Lessard, his step-daughter Danielle, brothers Jim and John (Lyne Meunier) and sister Sheila (Albert Gingras). His nieces Stephanie and Kayla and nephew Justin were very precious to him. Loving son of the late Mary (Stott) Bullock and Gerald "Buzz" Bullock. Also fondly remembered by brothers and sisters-in-law, Claude Lessard (Sylvia), Lorraine Jacques (Michel), Carmen Lefort (Fred), France Lessard (Lynn), many friends and his HP family. Sincere thanks to the staff of The Ottawa Hospital, in particular Drs. Balaa, Mimeault and Maroun and Nurse Pascale. A special thanks to Dr. Paul Hacker of the CPMA palliative team, and Nurses Bonnie, Deane, Nelson, Joseph and Michelle for their compassionate and loving care. Gerry was an inspiration and will always be remembered for his optimism and courage, his witty sense of humour and his passion for life. He loved his family and friends and was always there to help those who needed him. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, April 24th at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd. between 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on April 25th at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 194 Fourth Avenue, followed by a reception in the church hall at 12 p.m. In memoriam, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be very much appreciated.
