George Morgan Faith

Joe (George) Faith sadly passed away peacefully at his home in Carp, Ontario, with his family by his side, at the age of 81, on January 11, 2025.

Joe is lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Marion, his daughters Tracy Faith, and Kelly Treptow (nee Faith); his son-in-laws Scott Deugo and Jeff Treptow and his grandchildren Matthew & Shanna Deugo, Georgia & Austin Treptow; sisters Mary Lou Dransfield and Linda Faith. He is predeceased by his parents George and Lillian Faith. He will be dearly missed by his extended family and many friends. 

Joe was born in Ottawa, Ontario on January 24, 1943, grew up in Westboro, and finally settled in Carp Ontario in 1969. There he enjoyed the wonderful community of Carp, owning and operating Faith's Foodliner. He and Marion raised two loving daughters and created many meaningful memories with family and friends in the community. In the summertime, Joe enjoyed heading up to his family cottage in Constance Bay, where he spent his days boating, fishing, and relaxing on the beach. In his later years, Joe and Marion escaped the harsh Canadian weather to their paradise in Florida, where they enjoyed retirement, playing golf, and the wonderful snowbird community.

Respecting Joe’s wishes he will be cremated and no formal funeral will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the St Paul’s United Church Carp, Ontario, or Prostate Cancer (Prostate Cancer Support Ottawa).
