Peacefully in hospital after a lengthy illness, with his family by his side, on Wednesday June 1, 2022, in his 71 ^st year. Beloved husband and best friend of Joyce. Proud and loving father of Tracy Johnston-Hogue (Richard). Cherished grandfather of Ella and Grayson Hogue. Predeceased by his parents Harvey and Myrtle Johnston and by his siblings Greg, Gerald and Marion. Dear brother of Glen (Helen), Grant (Carrie) and Cathy and stepson of Heather Donaldson.

Special thanks to Doctors Stone and Foster, the nurses and staff of U4A and the palliative care team at the Queensway Carleton Hospital for their compassionate care.
