It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Garnet Thomas Richens "Garney" on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Giffin). Loving father of Tracey (Eric), Chris (Trina), and Kelly (Jeff). Cherished grandfather of Taylor, Jacob, Paige, Madison, Jaime, and Chase. Predeceased by his sister Vera and his parents Tom and Alice Richens. He will be missed by all his friends and family. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd. on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 1 - 3 pm and 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
