Peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 age 81 years. Beloved husband of Heather (Massey). Dear father of Mary Smith (Doug) and Joan Brown (late Trevor Bennett). Loving grandfather of Cliff Smith (Tonja), Tawnia Kruse (Dale), John and Sarah. Great grandfather of Tyler and Blake. He will also be sadly missed by Fern Carpenter (late Don), Helen Sadler (Earl), Cora Nolan (Claude) and Jane Massey; as well as his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Howard and Violet Brown; brothers-in-law Blyth Massey (Penny) and Eldon Massey (Aggie). The family wishes to thank the staff at the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice. Friends may attend a visitation at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes 3440 Richmond Rd., Nepean on Thursday from 1 p.m. until time of memorial service in the chapel at 3 p.m. followed by a reception.
