Pre deceased by her mother Marjorie and father Gerald (Jay) Harmer, brother Joel and sister Karen (Kerry). She lived a full life and touched so many people. She was a graduate and long time employee and supporter of Carleton University. She worked in Graphic Services and then Research Accounting, was on the Board of Governors.
