Fred was admired for his no-filter, passionate approach to life. He had an amazing self-deprecating sense of humour, was a prankster, and loved to make people laugh. A natural salesman, he enjoyed talking to people. A born athlete, he lived to play basketball, football, and baseball. He loved his Buffalo Bills and Toronto Maple Leafs. Seventies music, his favourite, carried him through good times and bad.

He valued friendship and loyalty and, above all, Fred loved his family. His wife Janice was his best friend, soulmate, and the love of his life. They were inseparable travel partners. He was so very proud of his children Jordan, Charlotte and Rochelle, encouraging them to pursue all in life that brings them joy and fulfilment.

Famous for his Irish exit, Fred stayed true to form with his peaceful passing; no fanfare or lengthy goodbyes.

To honour Fred and his love of travel, the immediate family will travel to a special place to celebrate and scatter his ashes

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
