Frank Kewley

March 31, 1939 — July 13, 2024

Frank Wilfred Kewley lived and loved life to the fullest. He defied many health challenges and embraced life with humour and story telling as a proud Manx Man. He was educated as a marine engineer and with that he travelled and worked around the world. He served his national apprenticeship in the Christmas islands. On arrival in Canada, he worked at the National Research council. His passions were family, motorcycles, sports cars, Liverpool Football club, listening to Dire Straights and watching his grandchildren’s activities. In his retirement he was a Santa, miniature train conductor, clown and so much more. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Janet (Banks), his daughter Emma (Daryl McKinnon) beautiful grandchildren Mack, Ty and Ada, daughters Michele (late Ton) and Mandy, son Gary (Anita) grandchildren Garry, Georgia, Charlie, and their families. His canines which he adored Chester and Duke predeceased him. He also leaves to mourn his brothers Robin (Margaret), Paul (Ruth), sister Vanda (Bern), late sister Ann and all of their children. He will be deeply missed by sister-in-law Judy (Michael), Jamie (Cathy) and their families. He also enjoyed his time with Ron, Susie and Simon Miller at Millers Farm and Market. In the face of pain and adversity he always had the ability to smile and laugh, even on his final days. Rest in peace my dear husband.

Visitation will be held at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars on Wednesday July 24th from 2 to 4 pm. Memorial service will be held in the chapel on Thursday July 25th at 2 pm. followed by a reception. A celebration at the Swan on the Rideau afterwards.
