Francis Jayagoda

Dear Friends,

It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to Mr. Francis Jayagoda, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on June 13, 2022.

Diplomat, raconteur, and bon vivant, “Don Francis” is survived by his wife Padma, daughters Inoka and Veronica, and sons-in-law Barry and Senaka. “Papa” will be missed forever by his grandchildren.

Our dear father was an accomplished, charming and well-travelled human being with a zest for life. Dad, we will always remember your jokes, laughter, and your unconditional love for us.

Thathi, may you attain the supreme bliss of Nirvana.
