Frances Latreille

It is with profound sadness that we announce that Frances Ann Latreille (nee Romani), passed away on February 23, 2024 in the presence of her nieces Julie Gill and Sheila Moskaluk by her bedside. Beloved wife and best friend of Emile Latreille (d. 2017). Predeceased by parents Alphonse and Annie Romani, sisters, Corinne, Mary, Edith, Anita, Melina, Roma, Teresa, Eleanor, and Elaine. Survived by brothers Donald (Linda), Joe (Darlene) and sister Laurie. Lovingly remembered and missed by nieces, nephews, former neighbours Deb and Jane and the Cadieux's of Cameo Drive, as well as her lady friends Margaret, Teresa, Reta and Jean at The Redwoods Retirement Home.
Special thanks to the wonderful Nursing and PSW staff at the Redwoods and CBI, HCCS and Palliative Care Team, who caringly attended to her needs throughout her final journey.
Frances and Emile were good and kind people. Always there to help or lend an ear when needed. They loved and enjoyed dancing and participated in many dance venues throughout the city. After they had both retired from the federal public service, much to their delight, they opened a dance studio and taught ballroom and other dance forms.
