Foster Eldon (Al) Faris
December 10, 1934 – May 10, 2014

Peacefully at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Saturday, May 10, 2014. Eldon was predeceased by his parents Foster and Roberta (McCord). Survived by his beloved partner and best friend Ann, brother Robert Dale (Hilary Radmore), nephews David (Julie) and Duane, niece Beth (Camilla), great nieces Emily and Ruby and great nephew Miles. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Ottawa Heart Institute for their exceptional kindness and compassionate care. Friends may visit at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Baseline Rd. and Bayshore Dr.) on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, May 15 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment Centre Eardley United Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
