We rejoice in the life lived by Fern Theresa - an amazing 92 ½ years. Beloved wife of 46 years to the late Dr. Sydney George Pickett. She will be fondly remembered by her 3 children David (Priscilla), Dianne (Wayne Last) and Donald (Jocelyne); her grandchildren Ron Jr., Bonnie-Lynne (Neal), David Jr., Sonya (Pat), Brandon (Julie) and Jake; her great grandchildren , Trevor, Courtney, Sydney, Julia, Grace, Kiara, Palmer, Joshua, Walter, Isabella and Sawyer. Also survived by her twin sister Rita Salter. Predeceased by her son-in-law Ronald Phillips. Heartfelt thanks to her dear friends Tanya Waldman, Pat Prinkowsky and Debbie Caughey for their loving care. Her unconditional love, quick wit and honesty will forever be remembered by all whom she touched. Friends are invited to visit at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Rogers Stevens Dr. Kars (East of Hwy 416) on Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. Celebration of her life will be held at Manotick United Church on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens. Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society.
