Fay Lindley Taylor

It is with both a heavy heart and gracious spirit that I announce my Mom's passing on Monday, May 20, 2024. 

Fay passed in peace, free of pain, and blessed by the morning sunshine. In her final days, her closest family and friends were able to reach out to her to pay their respects, express their gratitude, and say “fare-thee-well”.  

Fay will be remembered by many for her indomitable spirit, communications savvy, passion for righting wrongs, and her desire to help and mentor others.

Fay Lindley Taylor is survived by her son and daughter in-law (Scott and Deb Taymun), her sister (June Mewhort), her brother and sister in-law (Chris and Del Lindley), and her most cherished grand-children (Luke and Caitlin Taymun, and Quinn Taylor (with daughters in-law in spirit Maureen Murray and Praising Gaw)), as well as many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her son, Brock Taylor (Quinn's father) and Ron Mewhort (June's husband).

Many thanks to her most beloved friend and former colleague, Sasha Detre, who held her hand and mine over her final years and days, as well as the doctors and staff of the Queensway Carleton Hospital who gave Fay such good care. We will never forget the special kindness of Dr. Rebekah Murphy.
