Evelyn Minogue

February 14, 1927 - July 4, 2013

Peacefully surrounded by her family, Margaret, age 86, of Ottawa, passed away after a long and fulfilling life. Predeceased by her husband Lorne in 1988. Loving mother to Eileen (Tim) of Ladner, BC; Kenneth (Dawn) of Morden, MB; Ronald (Patricia) of Sidney, BC; and Nancy (Phil) of Stittsville, ON. Cherished Grandma to Jeremy (Sara), Kelly (Aaron), Sean (Debbie) and Rose. Great-Grandma to Sloane, Fiona, Benjamin, Spencer and Colin. Special GG to Addison, Reid, William and Jenson. Fondly remembered by her extended family, nieces and nephews. Margaret was a wonderful caring mother and grandparent. She treated everyone equally, had a great sense of humour and was always cheerful. Special thanks to the staff at Stillwater Creek Retirement Community for making Margaret's life happy for her last years and to the staff at Queensway Carleton Hospital for their sympathetic care. A memorial service will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 1 p.m. Interment has taken place at Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
