Eugenio "Enio" Marcantonio

Passed away in the comfort of his home on Sunday October 9, 2022, at the tender age of 61.  Beloved husband of 36 years to Maggie Marcantonio.  Loving and proud father of Maritza Marcantonio.  Fondly remembered by his sister Rosemary Richer (the late Claude) and their children Thalia and Felicia Richer; sisters-in-law Monique Rosteius and Charlotte Davis (Richard) and their children Caitlin Miller (Brent) and Josh Davis and brother-in-law Frank Rosteius (Shauna White) and their daughter Renée Rosteius.  Survived by his cherished mother Domenica Marcantonio.  Predeceased by his father Vincenzo Marcantonio and his in-law’s Ulrich and Elly Rosteius.  Survived by his extended family and friends.  Eugenio will be greatly missed by his four-legged companion Stella.

Eugenio “Enio” Marcantonio was a man who wore many hats. The fixer of many problems, incredible cook, recipe creator for the family small business, longtime Carp Farmers’ Market manager, Farm Boy employee for 19 years, and lover of animals big and small. He was a man with a heart of gold; you just had to peel back a few layers to see it, or, simply watch him interact with any animal.

Visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd.) on Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m.  A memorial service will be held in the chapel the following day at 11 a.m.  For those wishing, donations in his memory may be made to the West Carleton Food Access Centre.
