Eugenia Pantusa

Peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday December 29, 2021.  Daughter of the late Nicola Pingitore and Rachele Greco. Beloved wife of Antonio Pantusa. Loving mother of Monica Pantusa (Paul Dyer). Cherished nonna of Matthew and Alexa van Abbema and Noah Dyer. Dear sister of Margherita (late Eduardo Morrone). Predeceased by her sisters Giovanna (Ettore Benvenuti) and Giuliana (Paolino Silvio Pantusa) and her brother Francesco Pingitore. She will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Francesca Craig, Leo Benvenuti, Nicola Benvenuti, and Maria Pantusa for all of their support throughout her journey,  Dr. Brule, Dr. Nixon and the staff at the Ottawa General Hospital and the home care community support staff for their care and compassion, especially nurse Geoff, Dr. Bright, Shade and Jai.  Visitation will be held at the Tubman Funeral Homes’ Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Rd, Nepean (between Bayshore & Baseline) on Wednesday January 5 from 1-3 & 6-8 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony de Padua Roman Catholic Church on Thursday January 6 at 10 AM. Entombment in Italy.  To attend the visitation and funeral service, proof of double vaccination and pre-registration is mandatory. Please register below or call 613-722-6559.
