It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Erva Rivington (nee Eastman) of Kinburn on Friday June 9, 2023, at the age of 95.  Erva was predeceased by her soulmate Donald Rivington, whom she was happily married to for over 65 years. Loving mother to Stewart (Margaret), Gwen (Bill) Pennings and Debbie (Larry) Ingram. Proud grandma to Chris (Kathleen Wood) Pennings, Angie (Jamie) Harron and Melissa (Jamie) Markell,  and great grandma to Rachel Pennings, Connor, Noah and Maya Harron, Holly and Ivy Markell.  She leaves behind her dear brother Dalton (Betty) Eastman and sister-in-law Helene Lebarron as well as many nieces and nephews both on the Eastman and Rivington side. Predeceased by her parents John and Gertrude Eastman, brother Mel, brothers -in-laws Neville (Bunty) Rivington, Glenn (Olive) Rivington, Doug (Helen) Rivington and Keith Lebarron. She was a hard worker who enjoyed her home and her daily routines. She will always be remembered for her welcoming spirit and hospitality to all, her baking skills and most importantly her great love for her family. She had a well lived Christian life.

The family wishes to thank the nurses at Arnprior District Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care and Dr. Rosenkrantz for her many years of medical care. Friends may visit the family at the Carp Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 115 Rivington Street, Carp, on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, Carp on Friday, June 16, at 11 a.m. Interment St. James Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. James Anglican Church would be appreciated or those who wish, please consider becoming a blood donor in her memory.
