McDonald, Ellen Elizabeth (nee Finan)
October 9, 1926 - May 10, 2014

Passed away peacefully at Garden Terrace, Kanata with her family by her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband John Oliver McDonald and her brother Joe Finan. Dear mother to Ken (Evelyn) and Deirdre. Loving "Nan" to Amanda, Derek, and great granddaughter Tehya McDonald. Survived by her sister Lois Finan and her many nieces and nephews. She began her career working for the International Grenfell Association and retired from Public Service Health Canada. Special thanks to the caring staff at Garden Terrace and her compassionate caregivers, Lila, Darlene, and Hannah. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd., Nepean (between Bayshore & Baseline Rd.) on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 1 to 4 pm followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
