Elisa Akosah

April 14, 2011 — October 25, 2022

Garden Chapel

Elisa Amendi-Mangwe Akosah rested peacefully in the arms of Jesus on Tuesday October 25th, 2022, at CHEO Hospital, Ottawa, Canada. She is survived by her loving parents, Stanley Akosah, Dolly Apongpo, and siblings, Anastasia, Chelsea and Eden.

Elisa touched many lives during her brief but very impactful time here on earth. Her loving spirit will be remembered long after her passing.

Elisa had unwavering love for family. She was happiest when surrounded by her large, loving, family, especially her cousins. She brightened the world with her remarkable intellect, patience, joy, and grace. Elisa handled many health challenges with admirable courage, strength, grace, and faith. She was always very cheerful, positive, vivacious, and selfless. Elisa was a strong advocate for herself and a great pupil who demonstrated independence and self-direction in many ways.

Elisa had a strong passion for pop music, especially the band BTS. She was also very passionate and curious about different foods, from different cultures around the world. Above all, Elisa had a great sense of style and loved to look her best!

Her family will strive to honour her memory by living their lives in ways that emulate Elisa’s love for God and Jesus.

Elisa will be dearly missed, and her spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
