Elaine Cummings

F.M. Elaine Cummings nee Rothwell, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday October 3,  2020.  Predeceased by her parents  Colin and Marguerite, Elaine is survived by her loving husband Dave, her daughter Lori Ann , son in law Charles, grand children Ryan and Chelsea.  She will be sadly missed by her sister Joan Foster (predeceased spouse Paul) niece Debbie, spouse Mike and great nieces Jennifer and Amber.

Elaine was born and raised in Ottawa, she started her professional career at The Met Life, followed by McMaster University Pay and Benefits.  Elaine accepted a position with  Revenue Canada Customs and Excise (Ottawa Taxation Centre) where she embraced many different positions until her retirement in 1995.  Elaine had a way of making people feel special, welcoming, and loved.  Her passion for life, her Clan, gourmet cooking, music, dancing and travel allowed her to touch so many hearts.  Elaine will be truly missed by her friends North and South of the border.
