Left this world to begin her next adventure, Pearl departed on March 15, 2014. Daughter of the late John Franklin Keeler and Clara Hall. Pearl had the good fortune of having two loving husbands who predeceased her; Arthur Hyndman in 1993 and Willard McKale in 1964. Predeceased by her adored son, Arnold McKale, and by sisters Doras Gilmour, Vivian Keeler and Lillian Hale, and brother's Charles, Thomas, Willard and Andrew (Buster). She is survived by her beloved daughter-in-law, Shirley McKale of Costa Rica, honourary brothers Melvin Gilmour (his wife Hannah), and Ronald Gilmour of Ottawa, her Church family formerly at Northwestern United Church and currently at Kitchissippi United Church. Much beloved by many nieces and nephews, and, of course, her grand puppies. Friends may call at the Westboro chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt), on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 10 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkdale Food Centre, The Royal Ottawa Hospital for Mental Health or the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre would be appreciated.
