GARDNER, Edwin (Ed)

Peacefully on January 25, 2025, at the age of 99. Predeceased by his loving wife and lifelong best friend Isobel (2016). Cherished father to Don (Marta) and Judy (Phil). Adored grandpa to Kyle, Kayla (Anthony), Beth (Nathanael), Alex (Ruby), and honorary grandfather to Gustavo. Loving great grandpa to Isabelle, Jacob, Melodie and Daisy. Ed was loved by Wayne Woelflé, Darlene Hooymans Gardner, all his curling, golf and snooker buddies and anyone fortunate enough to have known him.

 The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Perley Health Veterans Center for the incredible care and compassion they have shown over the last year.

 A memorial visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes (3440 Richmond Road, Nepean) on February 3rd from 2:00-4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ed’s memory to the Ottawa Heart Institute or Perley Health Veterans Center would be appreciated.
