Beloved husband and best friend of Bonnie (Lillico). Cherished father of Bill Barrows and Brenda (Ian D’Ornellas). Fondly remembered by his step-grandsons, Ashton and Cael D’Ornellas. Predeceased by his parents, Carmen and Lilly (Ralph) Barrows. Earl is survived by his sister Beverley (Mark McDade). Predeceased by his brother Gerald Barrows (Margaret). He will be sadly missed by his brothers-in-law, Jim and Bill Lillico (Carolyn) and sisters-in-law, Nancy (Keith Hutchings) and Sally (Dale Prendergast). Lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Earl was a warm, loving, caring, kind gentleman. Always there for everyone and had a great attitude towards life. “Early” enjoyed his meeting nights with the guys, a good card game, bowling, baseball and his Toronto Maple Leafs. “Dusty” had wonderful memories of his many adventures and parties with great friends, coworkers, and family. “Squirly” always had time for a beer and a good chat with his friends. Lots of fun and laughs, Earl had many nicknames!
After many years of working for Sears, Earl got his truck license and worked his remaining career with Nepean Building Supplies, always enjoying a challenge and meeting new people. Earl will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. “Everyone loved Earl”.
Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Pierscianowski, Dr. Johnson-Obaseki, and Dr. John Hilton, the clinical trial team and to all the many wonderful nurses at the General Cancer Centre, for the excellent care and kindness over the years. Our sincere thanks to the outstanding care over the years from all the Home Care staff.
A special thanks to Dr. Tania Zakhem and the palliative team for their exceptional support and care.
