Dylan Michael Hill

Dylan Michael Hill, age of 21, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 23rd, 2024. Born on October 27th, 2002, weighing just 2lbs 10oz, Dylan began his life as a true fighter. Despite early expectations of only surviving a year, he defied the odds with remarkable perseverance and strength. His infectious smile and hearty laugh brought joy to everyone who knew him, and he will be profoundly missed. Dylan enjoyed watching Disney movies and made the most of his Disney+ subscription.

He is survived by his loving parents, Grant and Leslie (Sawyer) Hill; his sister, Brooklyn; his brothers Cody and Austin; devoted Nana Beatrice and predeceased by his Grandpa Bob Hill. He was dearly loved by his aunts and uncles, Leanne (Larry) Taylor, Mark (Kelly) Hill, Kala (Tim) Johnson, Greg (Hannah) Sawyer, and Katie Sawyer. Cherished cousin to Brett (Karlie), Jordan, and Chelsea Taylor, Kevin and Maggie Johnson, Lawson and Hudson Hill. He was also loved and cherished by Edna McKay and Jennifer O’Neil. 

 Special thanks to the staff at P.H.S.S.-Highfield House, Queensway Carleton Hospital, and Crystal Bay Centre for Special Education for their exceptional care and support. 

Friends may attend a visitation at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars on Thursday, August 29th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 30th at 11 am. Private interment will be scheduled at a later date. 

 In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to, Crystal Bay Centre for Special Education,  31 Moodie Drive, Nepean, ON K2H 8G1  or Ontario Autism, 1179 King Street West, Suite 004, Toronto, ON M6K 3C5  in Dylan’s memory.
