Dr. Ron Burman
Chiropractor
Ron passed away peacefully on 21st July 2018 at the age of 73 well loved and content with a life well lived. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Forrest) and dear father of Riley Ann and Ron Jr. (Yasemin). Forever in his heart will be his granddaughter Nina and grandson Bradley. Also left to mourn are his brother Brian of Kanata and brother-in-law Robert of Vancouver, extended family and many friends. We were all so proud of Ron for the kind of man that he was, sensitive and thoughtful towards others. He was always ready to help those less fortunate than himself and he did so in a quiet and unassuming manner. For many years as a teenager and as a struggling university student he fostered several children through foster plan international. Ron was a giver and a healer, a consummate and popular Chiropractor for 48 years. He was an energetic man who greatly enjoyed the company of all those who crossed his path many of whom became lifelong friends. Ron has taken a part of each of us with him through our love and memories so wherever he is he will never be alone. As per Ron’s wishes there will be no service. Instead do something nice for someone in need. Online condolences may be offered to www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com
The Little Ship
I stood watching as the little ship sailed out to sea. The setting sun tinted his white sails with a golden light, and as he disappeared from sight a voice at my side whispered, “He is gone.” But the sea was a narrow one. On the farther shore a little band of friends had gathered to watch and wait in happy expectation. Suddenly they caught sight of the tiny sail and, at the very moment when my companion had whispered, “He is gone” a glad shout went up in joyous welcome, “Here he comes!”
